Currently, the Harwinton Land Trust owns about 170 acres of natural open space.\u00a0 The public is most welcome to visit our properties and to enjoy our trails and wildlife observation areas.\u00a0 Five of our areas (Bull Pond Preserve, Forever Forest, Indian Meadow, Laurel Marsh, and Meadowview) have parking and easy access to\u00a0 hiking trails\u00a0 Land trust volunteers actively maintain our properties to keep them in great shape.\u00a0 Trails are generally flat and dry during normal weather conditions.\u00a0 They have been developed with seniors and families with young children in mind.\u00a0 The longest trail systems are about 2 miles back and forth.<\/p>\n

Dogs on leash are most welcome.\u00a0 Mountain bikes are also allowed, but motorized vehicles and horses are not.\u00a0 Please be considerate of others and leave only footprints behind.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
